NEW ORIGINAL SONG

Beam of Light

William Blanton

A personal testimony of faith when the road ahead is unclear—trusting that God’s light is enough for the next step.

“Beam of Light” looks back across changing roads, unanswered questions, and unexpected turns. The whole plan was never visible at once. Looking back, the path becomes clearer: keep moving forward with the light you have been given.

THE STORY BEHIND THE SONG

Only Enough Light for the Next Mile

Life rarely gives us a view of the whole road. Sometimes we can see only far enough to take the next step, make the next decision, or keep going through the next bend. “Beam of Light” grew from that experience—the realization that guidance often makes more sense in the rearview mirror than it did through the windshield.

The song follows a journey through work, ministry, changing seasons, and the return of old skills in unexpected ways. Its message is not that every answer comes quickly, but that faith can keep moving even when the road ahead is still out of sight.
